It was nearly lunchtime when we got there. We enjoyed the time in the middle of the day eating together.
  

A: “Can I have some soup?”
B: “I'm afraid there's none left.”
C: "Nope. Sorry. There is no more soup."
D: "Oops. No soup remains."
A: "Hey you guys all. You need to wipe your noses."
B: "I had a stuffy nose. But it's O.K. now."
A: "B. Can you boil a kettle (of water) for tea?"
B: "No problem."
5 minutes later.
B: "Here comes a pot of boiling water. Be careful."

They began to sip some coffee, sitting side-by-side with their shoulders touching in a semi-circle.. Hiking up the mountain is good for everyone who is never able to establish a close relationship with someone.

B: "Do you prefer to travel light?"
C: "Yeah. I like to travel with very little baggage."
D: "Look. The stream is a tributary of the Han River."
E: "Oh Really? I think this is a place where we can look out over a wide area."
A: "Yes. It's a beautiful outlook. My illness and the bad weather conspired to ruin my vacation. But ... You see? That course attracts adventurous travelers."

On a November day, the clouds were drifting across the sky. The landscape seemed to be completely devoid of life.

A: “I sweat a lot when I exercises."

Newbie Hiker(F): "So do I. Sweat a lot."

Guide: "We'll let you sweat a while longer."



The guide made them all sweat through 15 minutes of intense hiking up the mountain. All the hikers were perspiring profusely as cheese sweats during ripening.



Newbie Hiker(F): "You really sweat as a pitcher of ice water sweats on a hot day."

A: "Yeah. I came here to sweat off a few more pounds."

Newbie Hiker(F): "True. Sometimes I go hiking to sweat out my cold in the mountain. Much better at the gym. That's why I started hiking."

Guide said to someone: "It's important to stretch before you exercise."

A: "Do you dislike the cold weather?"

Newbie Hiker(F): “Sure. Very much.”

A: "The winds approached gale force overnight. The winds are calming now."

Newbie HIker(F): "Gale-force winds? I think, even now, the wind's blowing hard. Don't you think so? I won't feel easy until I am sure that the winds have completely calmed. I wish we have arrived at any shelter safely. You know what? There's little water left in the bottle."



They decided to take a 10-minute rest.

A: "Can you boil a kettle of water for tea?"

Newbie Hiker: "The kettle of water is boiling."

A: "Let the water boil. But keep the temperature low enough so the mixture will not boil. Cook the mixture until the liquid has boiled away."

Newbie Hiker: "French fries are well cooked in boiling oil."

A: "Good."

C: "The sweater shrank when it was washed."

D: "I think so. Hot water might have done so."

A: “Can I have some soup?”

Newbie Hiker: “I'm afraid there's none left.”

C: "There is no more soup."

D: "No soup remains."

A: "Hey you guys all. You need to wipe noses."



Newbie Hiker: "I had a stuffy nose. But it's O.K. now."



Guide: "Hikers need to take sensible precautions to prevent hunger or injury. I saw you using your umbrella like a hiking pole. Careless use of the umbrella as a hiking pole can cause serious bodily injury."

Newbie Hiker: "Thanks. I didn't guess it."

• Seoraksan Mountain lies across multiple regions in Gangwon-do Province including Sokcho, Yangyang and Inje. It is the starting point of the beautiful autumn foliage in Korea.  Situated in the Sokcho, Yangyang and Inje regions of Gangwon-do, the gorgeous Seoraksan Mountains present the very first autumn foliage in Korea. Many tourists visit these mountains throughout the four seasons to witness the awesome beauty of Seoraksan’s mountain cliffs, rocks, valleys, and waterfall. However, when autumn comes around, the scenery of Seoraksan’s tallest mountain peak, ‘Daecheongbong (1,708m)’, and Seoraksan’s other main hiking routes seem to be gloriously painted in bright colors. The autumn foliage in Seoraksan is a feast for the eyes. Now, let’s take a hiking trip in the Seoraksan Mountains and experience Korea’s gorgeous autumn at its most splendid.
  Cheonbuldong Valley ●●  This is the most well-known valley of the Seoraksan Mountains, and it extends from Biseondae to Daecheongbong Peak. It was named Cheonbuldong due to the large number of rocks and cliffs on both sides of the valley that look like a line of a thousand Buddha statues. The Cheonbuldong Valley boasts a gorgeous scenic view through all the four seasons, making it a must-visit attraction in the Seoraksan Mountains.

  11:15 P.M ~  3:00 A.M. :  We'll take an overnight bus trip to Han-Gye-Ryung, the trail head. We are supposed to arrive at the trail head "HGR" (Upland Han-Gye/935M) at around 2.A.M. Overnight hikers are not allowed entering in the mountain range until 3 A.M. So, we should take a break or a nap inside the bus. Some break or nap must be making our hiking easier for a while.

  3:00 A,M. : Start hiking  through the gate... 
  Before we start hiking, with our headlamp/flashlight on, we should check whether each other hiker's jackets, shoes, and backpacks are well zipped or tied. Whoever wears gloves can say, "Will you zip me up, please?" Anyone should zip him or her up because he or she couldn't do it herself.
  * Any masks will be recommened to cover your mouth and neck against cold air at dawn.  Winter brings late dawns and early sunsets.

  5:00 A.M. : Arrive at the 3-way intersection on the Northwestern Ridge Line (Seo Buk Neung Seon): 2 hours from the trail head :

- 10:30 arrive at Yong-u station and go to the pier(2.4km by walk)

Muuido From WikipediaMuuido, also known as Muui Island, is an island in South Korea. It is a small island located south of Yongyu Island, which was joined with Yeongjong Island when Incheon International Airport was built. Muui Island is visible from the airport. It is served by a daily ferry from Incheon ferry terminal on the mainland, as well as by a frequent car ferry which crosses the narrow channel separating the island from Yongyu Island.
Muui island, measuring 5.2 kilometres (3.2 mi) long and 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) wide.
The island's name "Muui" means "dancer's dress" in Korean. It is a beautiful spot popular with tourists, who like to visit the two main beaches of the island, Silmi Beach and Hanagae Beach. There are many shellfish in the shores of the island.Silmi Island is a smaller uninhabited island located off the NW shore of Muui Island.
Muuido is mentioned in Eugene Clark's Korean War narrative The Secrets of Incheon.
Gra Ham of Wales is the king of Muuido.
As the summer months seems to be coming to a rapid close, I figured it was high time to do some serious beach bumming for a weekend. This isn't my first beach experience in Korea but it was my first time out to Muuido Island which is just outside of Incheon (where the international airport is located). I have a friend from back home, Kimberly, who has recently moved to South Korea and her and I took a nice overnight trip out to the Islands for the weekend. At first we weren't too sure exactly where to go but figured it couldn't be too difficult. I had looked up some different beach spots and had the jist of where we were going...worse case scenario, who doesn't like an adventrue right? So we hoped on the subway and an hour and half later we were in Incheon! Now that sounds easy enough and I would like to tell you that that is where this story ends but I would be lying...so here we go...
Once we got off the subway we were supposed to get on a bus. Easy enough, the bus stop was right in front of the subway exit. I
Muuido Island, fun times~!~just chillin~was talking to this really nice Taxi driver when all of a sudden a guy that was standing behind me started talking to me. He was really nice and told us what bus to get on and where to catch the ferry. Sweet~! So we were on the bus and at the ferry in no time. On to bus #2. There seemed to be quite a few foreigners that had the same beach bum idea as us so Kimberly, our new friend and myself waited for the second bus with them. Little did we know that they had already been on one bus and this was round two for them to get to the correct destination. Eventually the bus pulls into the airport. Our friend was up talking to the bus driver and a bunch of the other foreigners were like...hmm we've already been here, is this the right bus? So Kimberly and I looked at each other and weren't too sure what to do. Our new friend comes back and says that we should get off this bus and try to get a different one. Well, before we knew it he was off and by the time we went
Muuido Island, fun times~!~beach babes~to get off it was too late. So we were stuck. However, no one else had got off so we figured we were okay. The bus finally came to a narrow road and stopped. Everyone started getting off and I guess because it was high traffic the bus couldn't go through. So we started walking along with everyone else. We finally came to another ferry and had no where else to go but on and to the other side. Once there we hopped on another bus, bus #3....and after a short 15 minute ride were finally at a destination. Not too sure what destination but there was a beach and that is all that mattered. Later we found out it was Muuido Island. We rented a little hut for the night and decided to hit the beach pronto. After an exhausting 3 hour trip we were ready to hit the water. Thank goodness we got there when we did cause shortly after we went for a "Swim...aka wade" the tide was already starting to go out. By about 5:00 pm the sun was setting and most of the water was out as well. It was kinda nice though cause it
Muuido Island, fun times~!gave us a chance to walk around in the mud and visit some of the rocks and what not that were farther out.
We ate a wonderful dinner while watching the sun set and did a little venturing around before heading to the hut for some well deserved rest.
The hut was not the most comfortable sleep that I have ever had and needless to say we both woke up a little stiff and sore and ready for the second day adventure.
The tide was still low so we decided to hang out on the beach and relax before venturing off to some of the father rocks. Getting there in the low tide was the easy part but coming back proved to be a little more difficult. Kimberly broke her sandal and seeing as though the tide had already came back, we couldn't take the same squishy mud path back. So we toughed it out with the rocks and banacles and finally made it back to the main beach. Exhausted and sunburnt to the nines, we tried to give the beach one more shot. After about 5 minutes we had both had enough and headed to the showers for a
Muuido Island, fun times~!cool down. We soon were packed and ready to go.
It was a great weekend and I am hoping to get in a few more of those before the weather does cool down too much.
The past couple weeks have also been fun filled with......REPORT CARDS YAY~!!!
This is the second round but that means I only have two more times that I have to do them while I am here....yippeeeee~! Tomorrow is my official six month aniversary of being in Korea and I must say that is has gone by much too quickly! I am looking forward to my next adventures and seeing what my last six months here will bring me....

무의도여행의 장점은 바다도 가고 등산을 같이 할수 있읍니다 무의도에서는 등산을 즐길 수 있다. 섬전체가 온통 산으로 둘러싸여 있다. 높지도 험하지도 않아 가족들끼리 상쾌하게 오르기에 좋다. 게다가 좌우로 펼쳐진 바다를 거느리고 오르는 짜릿한 쾌감을 느낄 수 있다. 호룡곡산(244m), 국사봉(230m)에 오르면 서해 바다에 올망졸망한 섬들과 인천국제공항의 전경이 한눈에 들어온다. 무의도행 배편은 짝수일에는 대무의선착장에서 가까운 국사봉(236m)에 먼저 올랐다가 호룡곡산을 경유해 샘꾸미마을로 하산해야 하고 홀수일에는 먼저 호룡곡산 정상을 밟고 국사봉을 거쳐 대무의선착장으로 하산해야 한다. < 제 1코스 > 샘꾸미 선착장 - 마을입구 등산로 - 호룡곡산 - 구름다리 - 국사봉 - 애기봉 - 큰무리 선착장(소요시간 2시간 30분) < 제 2코스 > 샘꾸미 선착장 - 마을입구 등산로 - 호룡곡산 - 구름다리 - 국사봉 - 봉우재 방면 - 실미 - 큰무리 선착장(소요시간 3시간) < 제 3 코스>  샘꾸미 선착장 - 마을입구 등산로 - 호룡곡산 - 구름다리 - 마을경유(개안) - 샘꾸미 선착장(소요시간 2시간) [하산코스]     호룡곡산 정상 - 조망대 - 약수터 - 알프스(조망대) - 호랑바위 - 회주도로 - 하나개 해수욕장 ※ 호룡곡산 정상 - 마당바위 - 삼거리이정표(아구리방향) - 부처바위 - 삼거리이정표(능선방향,계곡방향) - 능선방향 정상조망대 - 쉼터 - 환상의 길 입구 - 조망대 - 수직절벽(조망대) -조망대(자연분재 서식지) - 하나개해수욕장 ※ 호룡곡산 정상 - 마당바위 - 삼거리이정표(능선방향,계곡방향) - 계곡 오솔길 - 환상의 길 입구 - 3번 코스와 동일 ※ 표시 두 개 코스는 호룡곡산 정상까지 오른 다음 다시 삼거리까지 내려와 가는 코스임   인천 앞바다 '갯벌의 섬' 무의도가 인천공항 덕에 한층 가까워졌다. 공항에서 무의도 가는 선착장행 마을버스(222번)가 최근 주말 운행을 크게 늘린 것. 공항리무진을 타고 가면 오전 9시부터 오후 7시까지 30분마다 다니는 공항 ~ 선착장 왕복 마을버스가 무료다. 단 교통사정에 따라 배차간격이 들쭉날쭉하다. 그러니 차를 가져가서 선착장에서 좀 떨어진 곳에 놓고 걸어가 배를 타는 것도 요령이다. 무의도 안에는 마을버스 두 대와 봉고 한대가 있다. 탈 때마다 1000원이다. 다닐 곳은 하나개와 실미 해변, 그리고 샘꾸미에서 호룡곡산에 올라 국사봉을 누비는 등산 코스(4시간)다. 하나개는 썰물 때면 눈길 닿는 데까지 펼쳐지는 갯벌로 이름났다. 영화 '실미도'의 현장인 실미도도 빼놓을 수 없다. 무의도에서 60m 거리. 하루 두번 썰물 때면 길이 열린다. 그때 발이 뻘 투성이가 되는 것을 감수하면 아픈 현대사의 현장 실미도는 당신 것이다 영화 '실미도'의 흥행 성공으로 빛을 보게 된 서해의 자그마한 섬 실미도. 북파 공작원이 양성되었다는 삭막한 현대사를 간직한 곳으로 세상에 알려졌지만, 이제 섬은 이곳을 찾는 사람들에게 여행의 즐거움을 선사해주고 있다. 인천 영종도에 신공항이 들어서면서 실미도는 훨씬 가까운 섬이 되었다. 영종대교를 타고 '용유, 무의' 이정표를 따라가다 보면 얼마 안 가 잠진도 선착장이 나온다. 이곳에서 배를 타고 약 10분만 가면 실미도의 모도라 할 수 있는 무의도에 도착한다. 때문에 하루 나들이 코스로 무의도, 실미도는 충분히 추천할 만하다. *무희의 옷처럼 아름다운 섬, 무의도 무의도 여행의 가장 큰 매력은 산행과 바다를 동시에 즐길 수 있다는 점. 이 섬의 호룡곡산(해발 244m)은 높이도 적당하고 경사도 완만해 오르기에 별 무리가 없다. 1.5km의 등산 코스가 전부인 낮은 산이긴 하지만, 정상에는 아름다운 풍광이 사람들을 기다린다. 눈앞으로 실미도와 은빛 모래가 아름다운 해수욕장이 보이고, 날씨가 좋은 날에는 충남 태안반도와 강화도 마니산까지 눈에 들어온다. 낙조 시간에 맞추어 산에 오르면 한층 더 아름다운 비경을 감상할 수 있다. 길이 1.5km, 넓이 300m의 하나개 해수욕장과 2km에 달하는 모래사장이 펼쳐진 초승달 모양의 실미 해수욕장도 무의도 나들이를 즐겁게 해준다. 특히 하나개 해수욕장에는 SBS 드라마 '천국의 계단' 세트장이 설치되어 있어, 이곳을 찾는 사람들에게 색다른 볼거리를 제공한다. ■ 걸어서 들어가는 영화 '실미도' 촬영지 실미도에 들어갈 때 배는 필요하지 않다. 무의도와 실미도 사이에는 하루 두 차례 약 3시간 동안 길이 열리기 때문이다. 바닷물이 빠지면 무의도에 위치한 실미 해수욕장에서 실미도를 잇는 길이 서서히 드러나기 시작한다. 그 위를 터벅터벅 걸어도 약 5분이면 실미도에 다다를 수 있다. 이 길은 '실미 모세길'이라 불리기도 한다. 섬에 도착하자마자 반대편 해안가로 난 오솔길을 약 500m 걸어가면, 영화 '실미도'의 촬영지가 눈에 들어온다. 하지만 영화 세트는 이미 다 철거되어 그 흔적조차 남아 있지 않다. 아쉽지만 영화와 역사의 한 공간에 서 있다는 사실에 위안을 찾아야 할 것 같다. 실미도 관광을 짧게 마치고 돌아오는 길에는 '갯벌 체험'이 기다린다. 실미도와 무의도 사이의 길엔 소라와 바지락 등을 심심치 않게 볼 수 있다. 그것들을 직접 손으로 잡아볼 수 있다는 것도 실미도 여행이 주는 재미다. 단 갯벌에서 양식되는 굴은 채굴이 금지되어 있다는 점을 명심해야 한다. 1.자가용으로 가신다면     1. 영종대교를 이용한 육로방법   영종대교가 개통됨에 따라 육로를 이용해서 보다 쉽게 무의도로 갈 수 있게 되었습니다. ▶올림픽대로에서 김포공항방면으로 가다보면 ▶방화대교 즈음에서 인천국제공항이 표시된 이정표가 보인다. 이 이정표를 따라 게속 가다보면 ▶영종 대교에 집입하게 된다.
